EXHIBITIONS AND AWARDS

In November 2007, Terri was accepted into the new “Earthwood Collections” Boulder Gallery located at 1412 Pearl St., Boulder, CO. If you ever get the chance to get up to Boulder, check out this gallery!

In September 2007, Terri participated in an invitational Art Show and Sale, “Heritage For Land's Sake” to benefit The Palmer Land Trust. The Palmer Land Trust is a non-profit land trust dedicated to the permanent protection of open space, agricultural, scenic, and natural lands in Southeastern Colorado. Artists painted in Plein Air on Palmer Land Trust properties and the paintings were hung at the “Gay and Lesbian Fund” building where over 80 beautiful paintings were displayed. Terri's painting “Sun On The Southern Plain” was one of three paintings sold at this event.

In August 2007, Terri was juried into the 5th Annual Estes Park Plein Air Show as part of the “Paint The Parks” competition where artists from around the country participated. The Artists painted within a 100- mile radius to include the “Rocky Mountain National Forest” where Terri focused her attention. Terri's painting “Rocky Mountain Wildflowers” was chosen for the “Director's Choice Award” to include a purchase award. Terri was honored and humbled to be chosen for this award.



On January 27, 2007, Terri was fortunate enough to be invited to be the featured artist at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Colorado Springs Annual Gala at the Sheraton Hotel where the actor Esai Morales, star of the movie "La Bamba", NYPD Blue, and "La Familia", was the keynote speaker. To welcome the keynote speaker to our city, Terri presented Esai Morales with a painting named "Lingering Color" depicting our fall colors and beautiful snow covered Pikes Peak. The art show and evening was a success and a night to remember!
